Welcome to the Crew, Amanda.
We’re excited to welcome Amanda Madden as the newest member of our Spinakr Crew. She is joining us as a Solutions Consultant and will help support our clients.
Amanda has a myriad of capabilities and interests that will bring incredible value to our overall business, as well as to our clients. She is a recent graduate from Duke University where she majored in Electrical & Computer Engineering and minored in both Computer Science and Visual & Media Studies.
While studying, Amanda worked at the on-campus maker space helping students and faculty use 3D printers, laser cutters, and other tools to build whatever they could imagine. She also redesigned a hardware design course for virtual learning for a professor. During her time at Duke, Amanda interned as a UX designer for a tech company called Litmus, redesigning their tracking code form within their email analytics service.
Amanda enjoys creative details, but expresses even more of her capabilities in a role speaking with stakeholders and customers, creating user journeys, and developing solutions for them after the problems are pinpointed.
“I'm excited that Spinakr gives me the opportunity to take my favorite parts of the design process and apply them to business solutions,” she shares, “And I'm looking forward to learning more about consulting in general as well as the new industries I will be advising.”
On a personal level, Amanda enjoys hiking, baking, painting, and weightlifting. This past summer she spent 3 weeks hiking many of the National Parks in California, including Sequoia, Yosemite, and Redwood. Her favorite thing to bake right now is Hawaiian butter mochi muffins (and she may even share the recipe if you ask).
